Becoming Familiar With the PSAT
For many students, the PSAT becomes their first real exposure to standardized testing connected to college preparation.
That does not mean you need to treat it like a life-defining event.
Sophomore year is mainly a time to become more familiar with the process.

Familiarity usually lowers unnecessary stress.
Your One Action
Start a Testing Familiarity section inside your Future Familiarity Log.
Spend a few minutes exploring what the PSAT measures, when students take it and what sections are included. Then write:
one thing that surprised you or
one thing that feels less confusing now
