Step 33

Organizing Your Acceptances

Once decisions start arriving, emotions can change quickly.

One acceptance can feel exciting.

One denial can suddenly overshadow everything else.

Some students avoid looking at all their results together because it feels emotionally loaded.

But clear decisions usually start with seeing the full picture instead of reacting to one result at a time.

Core Idea

It is easier to think clearly when your options are organized in one place.

Your One Action

In your College Process Hub, create a section called: Decision Dashboard.

List every school you have heard back from. Next to each one, record:

  • Accepted

  • Waitlisted

  • Denied

Then complete: “Looking at my decisions, I feel ______.”

Examples:

  • relieved

  • disappointed

  • overwhelmed

  • grateful

  • confused

  • proud

  • emotionally mixed

Optional prompt: “The decision affecting me most emotionally right now is ______.”
