Step 40
Handling Other People's Opinions
As college decisions become more real, opinions often become louder.
Family members may focus on practicality.
Friends may focus on prestige.
Teachers may have strong preferences.
People sometimes project their own experiences, hopes, or fears onto your decision without realizing it.
Input can be useful. Pressure usually is not.
Core Idea
You can listen to people without handing them the final decision.
