Step 42

Staying Present in Your Classes

Once college decisions are made, it becomes very easy to live mentally in the future.

Students start thinking about summer, graduation, college, freedom, moving out.

Meanwhile, current responsibilities begin fading into the background.

That shift is understandable. But this part still matters too.

Core Idea

The way you finish things becomes part of who you are becoming.

Your One Action

Open your Still Present Tracker.

Choose one class. Write:

  1. one assignment you still need to complete

  2. one thing you need to review, study, or prepare for

Keep it specific and realistic.

Then complete: “The class I’m most likely to mentally check out of is ______.”

Optional prompt: “The moment I usually stop fully engaging is ______.”
