Step 44

Closing Out Your Responsibilities

Even near the end of senior year, you still have responsibilities attached to your name.

Classes. Teams. Clubs. Leadership positions. Group projects.

Commitments people still rely on you for.

It's easy to quietly disengage before those things are actually finished.

But how you leave matters.

Core Idea

Finishing responsibly is a form of respect - for yourself and for other people.

Your One Action

Start your Finish Well List

List 2 responsibilities you still have.

Examples:

  • class responsibilities

  • leadership positions

  • teams

  • clubs

  • work

  • family responsibilities

  • group projects

Next to each one, write one step needed to finish it responsibly.

Then complete: “The responsibility I most want to stop thinking about is ______.”

Optional prompt: “The reason this responsibility feels heavier right now is ______.”

Deeper Reflection

Not impressive. Just responsible.
