Taking More Initiative
As you get older, fewer people remind you what to do next.
Opportunities often go to students who take action before someone asks them to.
Not because they are more talented. Usually because they are more proactive.
Core Idea
Initiative usually starts with small actions done consistently.

Start your Initiative Reps List.
Choose one action you will complete this week without being reminded.
Examples:
send an email
ask a teacher a question
start an assignment earlier
follow up on something important
prepare ahead for a test
help organize part of an activity
Then write:
what you will do
when you will do it
how difficult it feels to start (1–10)
