Step 31

Paying Attention to What You Are Curious About

As sophomore year continues, certain topics, questions, or activities may keep catching your attention.

You do not need to turn every interest into a future career plan.

But repeated curiosity is usually worth noticing.

People naturally spend more energy on things that engage them, even when nobody is requiring it.

Core Idea

Curiosity often points toward what genuinely interests you.

Your One Action

Start your Curiosity Signals Archive.

Write down one topic, one activity or  one type of problem you have been curious about recently.

Then add: “This curiosity usually shows up when I ______.”

Examples:

  • watching videos

  • scrolling social media

  • talking with people

  • working on projects

  • reading articles

  • researching random questions

  • learning something independently
