Step 19

Recognizing That You Are Already Learning About Yourself

Even if freshman year still feels confusing sometimes, you are already collecting important information about:

  • what helps you focus

  • what environments fit you

  • how you respond to pressure

  • what kinds of people affect you positively

  • what routines help you feel steady

  • what experiences feel meaningful

You do not need final answers yet.

Very few freshmen actually have them, even when they seem like they do.

Core Idea

Self-awareness develops gradually through experience.
