Understanding That Interests Change Over Time
Students sometimes assume they need to pick an identity early and stay consistent forever.
Realistically:
interests change
priorities shift
confidence grows
new experiences affect people
exposure creates new curiosity
Changing interests are not usually a sign that something is wrong. They’re usually a sign that you are developing.

You are allowed to outgrow interests and discover new ones.

Start your Change Log.
Write:
one thing you care more about now than before or
one thing that matters less to you now
Then finish: “I think this changed because ______.”
